Throwback to the time I assembled this yummy sprea Throwback to the time I assembled this yummy spread of homemade scones, bought a baguette from @littlefarms and brought out my favourite spreads (dat pesto from @hubersbutchery 🤤🤤). I only managed to eat a tiny bit of it before the baby cried for attention. The husband dashed out of the house to rush for football without even having a bite of it. But hey, AT LEAST I GOT AN INSTAGRAM-WORTHY PHOTO OUT OF IT AMIRIGHT?
I’m not a pro-baker at all, but when it comes to I’m not a pro-baker at all, but when it comes to canneles, the ones I make at home are still the best. I use a recipe that makes accommodations for silicone mounds by @eatlittlebird, and it turns out little cakes that are sticky-crunchy on the outside, and so decadently custardy on the inside. Sadly, this batch has now called time on my moulds. They’ve lost their non-stick surface (hence the patchy sides) and I tore a few holes into it while I was trying to turn them out 😭😭 wonder if I should just shell out for (REALLY EXPENSIVE) copper moulds now instead... . . . #baking #sg #singapore #igsg #sgig #bakery #homebakes #homecook #homecooking #sgeats #canneles #foodiesg #foodporn #bake #photooftheday #dessert
